A beautiful Christmas story has made it’s way out of White Township in New Jersey. About 15 years ago, a man went to a Christmas tree farm with his loving wife to find the perfect tree. You know that feeling when you spot the perfect one…

But as it is at the tree farm, your hands can take a bit of a beating. The man ended up losing his wedding ring in the process, coming back again and again in the next couple of days to look for it. Unfortunately, it was gone, lost somewhere among the trees on the massive farm.

Fast forward to this past April, the farmer was planting some trees when he spotted something shiny in the soil, a wedding ring. So he hit up Facebook to see if he could find the owner, and now 8 months after he found it, the rightful owner has come forward.

You guessed it, it’s the man who lost it 15 years ago. And it couldn’t have come back into his life at a better time. The man, now 68, had just lost his wife of 42 years in September. Can you imagine how much it means to him to have a piece of her back in his life like that? Actually made us tear up a bit.
